Cache - a portion of your Hard drive your browser uses to temporarily store files, pronounced "cash". The bigger the better. When you have a page in your cache it will reload from your Hard drive instead of over the net. Can be flushed or cleared. Can also eat up all your drive space if you set it too big. world wide web - the portion of the internet conisiting of a bunch of servers and millions of pages all using HTML and accessed using a browser. |
Browser - a program (software) that lets you view documents and media on the world wide web, (see Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer) Internet- The international network of computers connected thru phone lines utilizing a standard set of protocals so they can all communicate with each other. You are using it now. Includes but is not limited to the world wide web. |
